North Central Washington Volleyball Club
Mission Statement
NCWVBC’s mission is to provide the opportunity for young volleyball players to develop their individual skills, while enhancing their ability to compete as a team.
NCWVBC’s primary goals are to:
- Improve each player’s skill level
- Teach players to become students of the game.
- Provide continuous challenges, both for the individual and the team.
- Enjoy the game and the challenge of striving to become the best volleyball players possible
NCWVBC’s secondary goal is to:
- Develop teams that are competitive at the regional and national levels.
Club Structure
We are a volunteer, non-profit club that is part of the Junior Olympic USA Volleyball organization. NCWVBC has teams ranging from U12 to U18 (grades 4 through 12). Within each age group, there may be several teams that differ in skill level, level of commitment, and cost. This structure provides an opportunity to make a “good fit” and to support the goals of the club by aligning expectation, commitment and ability of players, coaches and parents.
Although the Board of Directors and coaching staff recognize that personal development is achieved when high expectations are in place, they also believe volleyball is a game to be enjoyed.
